Important Clinic Updates

Dear Patients,

We appreciate you! We care about your health and the health of others around you. We are all going through a period of unknown, which can be the scariest part of anything.   By now you have seen and heard many things about COVID-19. You probably know the symptoms (cough, fever, etc), have heard what to do (wash your hands, don’t cough, sneeze, or breath on people), but you still have questions. Honestly, so do we.

We are continually trying to gather as much accurate information as possible from trusted sources. The Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization are reliable resources.   We know how viruses work and how to prevent rapid spread and we ask that everyone does their part.

At Compass Chiropractic, we are continuing to serve patients at this time, and we are taking additional measures to keep our patients safe.

1)      We have paused the use of iPad check-in. Come in and have a seat, our staff will check you in.

2)      We are cleaning the table thoroughly between patients. And yes, our doctors and staff are keeping their hands clean.

3)      We are spacing out appointment times as the schedule allows so there are fewer people in the office at one time and we are doing our best to stay on schedule. The additional questions from patients do slow us down, but we want to address any concerns you have.

4)      We encourage most of you to keep your appointments. We know that chiropractic care has a positive effect on the immune system. We know now that this virus is primarily dangerous to elderly, people with a history of chronic disease, and those who are immunocompromised. If you fall into those categories, or care for someone that does, and do not feel chiropractic care is urgent, please postpone appointments. If our staff calls you to cancel an appointment, it is because we feel it is in your best interest.

5)      If you decided you would like to postpone your chiropractic care, that’s ok, we completely understand. We just ask that you please let us know ahead of time by calling us at 715-344-2990. There is no penalty for canceled appointments.

 

We know the situation is changing on a daily, even hourly basis. We will change our procedures accordingly and follow recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and our federal, state, and local governments. We will keep you updated to any changes in our operations.

 

Please use good judgement and be kind to others.   Caution and concern is important, but fear and panic can be very detrimental.

 

You are important to us and we are all going through this together.   Stay smart, stay healthy, and stay kind.
